You started your own online business, you have everything in order ; your website is running, every link in it is functioning as it should be, the products or services you’re selling are there, but your sales are at an all time low.
Why? You probably thought that starting an online business just requires you to put up a functioning website, this is where you are wrong.
Starting an online business is not as easy as it seems. As with other businesses, you have to advertise your products in order to lure people in and start buying your products.
So just how do you advertise in the internet?
Simple
There are a number of ways to promote your [/tag-ice]online business[/tag-ice] in the internet. One of them is through affiliate programs.
Affiliate programs works by posting your banners and links to other websites. Most of these are free; you only pay affiliates for every customer referrals from their website who buys your product.
For example, Customer “A” visits your affiliate website, then customer “A” gets interested in the product you are selling, and then customer “A” clicks on your link or banner in your affiliate website. Customer “A” is then redirected to your website so that he/she can buy the product you are selling.
You then pay your affiliate with a specified amount of commission for that product.
How would you find affiliates who would want to post your links and banners free?
There are so many people in the internet willing to post your links and banners free. People like to use affiliate programs because they practically do not have to do anything hard through this form of advertising.
All they do is promote their website in order to generate targeted internet traffic to their website, therefore, generating targeted traffic to your website and produce more sales.
All they do is hope and pray that a visitor from their website will buy your product in order to get a commission.
To find a good number of affiliates who are willing to promote your products free, you first have to sign up with an affiliate-tracking program.
After signing up, you now have to make a decision on how much you are going to pay your affiliate for each sold product.
You then design some banners or text link that your affiliates can use to post in their website.
Now you are set. All you have to do is wait for affiliates to sign up in the affiliate tracking program and start promoting your products.
Although affiliates can promote your products or services free, you still have to take care of your affiliates in order to promote your product more diligently and with loyalty.
To get affiliate’s loyalty and get them to work harder in promoting your products, pay them well. Give your affiliates a high commission rate for every products sold with their referrals. Not only that it will keep your affiliates from leaving you but it will also attract more affiliates to sign up for you.
You also have to track the sales generated by each and every affiliates referred to you. If you have lots of affiliate, you can easily track their referrals and sales through the affiliate tracking company you signed up for.
You also have to pay your affiliates as early as possible for their sales. Letting them wait for months will discourage them to promote your products and leave you. For this, you have to set up a minimum payment requirement in order to track which affiliate you have to pay.
Be professional, answer questions from emails from your affiliates regarding your affiliate program as soon as you can. Do this in a friendly and professional manner.
Create an affiliate newsletter. This is a great way to show your support your affiliate and a great way to give them tips on how to market your products more effectively.
Give your top affiliates bonuses for the sales they bring you and include them in your newsletter for your affiliates. This will get your other affiliates to work harder in promoting your products, and a little competition is good for your affiliates.
Create an affiliate only chat room. This will enable your affiliates to speak with each other and discuss about how to make your products to sell more. Providing them with chat rooms or discussion boards will show how much you support them. It is also a good way to give tips and advice on how to market your products.
Affiliate programs are a great and cheap way to advertise your products. Your affiliates will work hard if you give them enough benefits and bonuses for promoting your products or services.

Therefore, once you decide to finally develop your own products you will know how to successfully obtain traffic, advertise, promote and sell. You will have ample experience in proven methods of marketing them for maximum results.
Here are some valuable tips for you for a more successful affiliate marketing activity:
1. Great results are derived from having the right product and the right marketing niche. Content and links should be easy to follow. It must be user friendly. You put in contact information so you will be accessible to customers and potential ones.
2. A strong headline of an affiliate website even of all web sites is necessary. This will help capture the attention and interest of internet users. It could be qualified as love at first sight - if your website has that strong and attention-grabbing headline, then you does not need to worry of obtaining potential customers and even hordes of visitors.
Remember that internet users are fickle. Their attention span when browsing the Internet is relatively shorter. Along with the attention-grabbing headline, make sure that your website’s content will also capture your user’s interests.
3. A solid endorsement content added on your web pages is advantageous. Aside from inexperienced ones, people hunting the internet for a product usually research first before buying. They like to know if others have tried your products and their reaction.
An endorsement or product recommendation from actual customers is quite advisable. This way, the customer need not contact you to ask about the product’s track record to other customers. If you could present them an honest testimonial, then they can be easily convinced of your product’s authenticity and credibility.
4. Build an informative “frequently asked questions” or FAQ section in your website. Customers look for valuable pieces of information before considering to buy a product or avail of a service.
FAQ sections will provide the facts and information that will increase the customer’s level of satisfaction. Having this may keep users for a longer time in your website.
5. Have an affiliate marketing website development plan. Involve scripting support and e-commerce services in this plan. The scripting option helps you be aware of customers’ shopping habits. This will be useful once you decide to develop or offer new products.
6. Installing web page analyzer tools can help you gauge how fast your page downloads. Sometimes user gets impatient with websites that does not download quickly. This will help you make amends on page downloading.
Continue on looking for other ways and means to make your affiliate website potentially dynamic. Remember that customers tend to trust a better-developed online business site. Search the internet for more innovative ways of improving your affiliate-marketing program and start with the top program by clicking the banner below!

Online Business Ethics
Very simple: Be a source of integrity. Don’t be phony, people will know and not come to visit your site again. Even worse, they will post a bad review somewhere on the web and others will not even come to see for themselves. If you don’t know about something, don’t pretend that you do.
Respect your customers, or prospective customers, and offer them something of value. Give good information that will draw your customers’ attention and this will help to build trust. It also gives them a reason to stay or come back again for more. Follow-up with your customers, but don’t be a pest. Basically, don’t spam, don’t steal, and don’t lie.
Just as in an offline business, there are ethics and standards that should be followed. If you are starting an online business, you’ve probably spent some time online already and can see that there are hundreds of thousands of businesses trying to sell their products and information and services to you. Study how they do it. Spend some time visiting the websites of your competitors, much like you would when preparing a business plan for an offline business. Look for and evaluate the following characteristics to determine the integrity of the business as a whole:
What are they selling?
When you first come to their index page, can you quickly and easily figure out what they are selling? Is it a real product, an information product, a membership or a service? Do they offer something of real value right off the bat for free such as informative content or a related ebook? If you cannot determine within the first 30 seconds what they are selling or why they are in business, chances are that they are just a hodgepodge of links put together to make the owner affiliate revenue. However, if you do see something of value, stay a bit longer and evaluate further.
Can you contact them directly?
Look on the main page. Contact information could be in the top nav bar, on the side nav bar or at the bottom of the page. Also, look for a direct link such as Contact Us. Click this link and see where it takes you. Do they provide a physical address, a contact name or email, and a phone number? These three things are a must for a legitimate business. If an owner is not confident in his business enough to put an address and contact phone number on his site, he must be hiding something. The final test is to send an email to the company and see who responds and how long it takes to get a response. Most one-person web businesses should be able to answer your email within 1-2 business days.
Is the content valuable and correct?
One of my biggest pet peeves is spelling and grammar. If the owner has done his research and knows what he is talking about, this should show in the quality of the information on his site. A professional image depends on attention to details. Presentation is everything. If you are going to put out information, it has to be presented in an organized fashion with no mistakes. When I see more than one misspelled word or grammar mistake on a website or page, I move on. If the owner has not proofread his own material or verified the information on his site is correct and presented professionally, I won’t be trusting that his products are much higher in quality.
Is there a free trial or guarantee on the products and services being offered?
Those businesses that have developed a quality product or service and are confident in it will not hesitate to put a guarantee on it. They will stand behind it 100%. Even better are those companies that let you try the product or service for free. This way you can test it out to see if it is indeed what you need and meets the quality standards of a legitimate business.
How do they advertise?
Look at the other links on the website. Visit some of them to see the quality of partners associated with the first business. Do the links take you somewhere valuable and helpful? Is the business partnered with other legitimate businesses? Also, how did you find out about the website in the first place and what in their ad drew you in? Did the ad lie to you? Make sure that when you advertise that you don’t misrepresent what you are offering. In addition, don’t be a spammer. Make sure to develop a double opt-in email list that you can use to send valuable follow up information to your customers. This will help to build loyalty as well as word of mouth referrals.
Visit forums and pay-per-click sites to see the companies who are advertising the same products and services that you are to find out what promotion methods they are using. Use them as a starting point and try to set your standards of quality and honesty a step above when developing your ads.
The bottom line is, there is good karma and bad. Even though we all know those people in life whose bad karma hasn’t caught up with them yet, don’t join the crowd. Be a leader, be a source of integrity, and provide a quality product or service that you can stand behind. In the long run, this will help you build a profitable, long-standing business rather than a fly-by-night get rich quick scheme.

With the growing popularity of blogs and in particular a WordPress blog, it is getting easier for everyone to establish an online business presence.
Using a WordPress blog, a small business owner can target a small geographic region in the keywords chosen to write about. In fact I will be doing a similar blog in the coming weeks for my wife’s small medical transcription business. She is a one-person business and the target market is very small. So by using a title and keywords focused on a small geographic area she could easily dominate the search engines in a short period of time. I will try to keep a record of the progress of this new site as soon as it starts.
So what is stopping a small or any size business for that matter, from keeping its customers up to date and informed using a WordPress blog? I think most business types think of a blog as something like what I am posting right now; which is just a collection of my random thoughts, or something like Myspace for teenagers to brag about their latest antics. Or for political pundits to spin their latest tin-foil hat crackpot theories about whatever they disagree with. Some of those myths can be dispelled here:Entireweb Weekly Newsletter
While a blog can be all those things it can be much, much more.
A WordPress blog can be setup to look like professionally built website. The latest version of WordPress allows for a static home page. This can allow the business to show the same consistent information about its offerings while driving traffic to the site using the effectiveness of a blog platform. For a small business owner setup and cost is minimal, and once setup maintenance can be as easy as writing an email once a week or more.

So you want to know where to start with an online business? To get the full potential out of any online business you will definitely need a website. When I say website I don’t mean a page that some programs give you with your affiliate ID attached to the end of it, but your own domain name and a good provider to host it on. But before we get into domain names and hosting accounts let’s start at the beginning with the online business idea itself.
You first need to decide what your new website will be focused on, or your niche market. While there are thousands of work at home websites on the Internet, and the competition is well established, you can still find your own little niche within this bigger category that has been overlooked and is less competitive.
Keyword research is crucial to determining your sites theme and the success of your online business. Keywords or keyword phrases are something that you will hear a lot about as you progress and start to develop your website.
Even if your website is a pre-designed Plug-In Profits site It should eventually be optimized toward a more narrow, less competitive niche.
Search engine optimization, or SEO is the process of finding these keyword phrases and designing or changing your website around your keywords. This should be done on every page that you add to, or have on your site. Every page on your site should have a specific topic and be optimized according to the content on that page.
Before you choose your domain name you should determine your sites theme or niche and keywords and then choose a domain name that closely matches. That is why you should do this research before you register a domain name. The two most popular tools for keyword research are subscription based Wordtracker, and the free Overture tool. Another site I recommend for SEO related research with a whole suite of tools is SEOBook.com. I recommend trying out the free ones first then get a one-day or one-week subscription to Wordtracker as it is considered the most accurate.
Choosing A Domain Name
After you have decided on your main sites themes or niche its time to determine your domain name. You could chose anydomain name and try to build a brand around it like Google has done, or you may want to choose a keyword domain name that relates to your sites niche.
Whether you choose a brandable domain or a keyword domain is a choice you must make, and a choice you should make in accordance with your business plan. If you have a large offline advertising budget and the budget necessary to brand your organization, I’d recommend a brandable domain. If, on the other hand, you’re working on a tight budget, choose a keyword domain and let the search engines bring the customers to you.
Try to keep your domain name as short and to the point as possible. If you think you may eventually market your site offline then try to get a .com extension. If you are sticking strictly with online marketing then the other extensions such as .net, .us and the newer .ws will have more names and options available.
There are numerous tools available to search domain name availability such as Godaddy.com or Nameboy.com; both have tools for suggesting different names based on your first choice if its not available. Godaddy or 123cheapdomains.com are probably the cheapest place to register your domain once you decide on a name. If you are joining a program that sets up your website you should check if domain name registration is part of the package or something you can benefit from or get a discount if purchased from it.

Earning Residual Income, Leveraging Your Online Business Efforts.
If you were to open a business today, any business, would it be one that sold a one-time item, or something that people kept coming back for? If I were to put the effort into getting a customer once, I would want to keep them as customer for as long as possible.
Earning residual income has become one of the most popular business models for affiliate marketing. Why go through all the effort to get someone to buy just one widget when you can get him or her to pay for your widget and the widget sharpening service every month?
Prospective customers usually need to see your ad, product or service several times before they feel comfortable enough to buy. That means getting your ad in front as many people as possible. It’s a numbers game that must be played but why not at least put it to work for you?
For your first work at home business you may want to keep costs down and work on just producing any amount of income, while still learning the ropes. With residual income opportunities, since someone else is earning a rresidual income from your efforts, you should have plenty of support and training from the program you choose.
Do not go into a residual income opportunity assuming that all you need to do is sign on and pay a small monthly fee and others will do the work for you. If you go in with this mentality you will most likely fail to produce the results your looking for.
What to look for in earning residual income opportunities.
Look for as much of a turn- key business system as you can find. The Internet has produced many programs, some are legitimate money making opportunities, and many are scams or schemes. So do your research before spending any money on programs that promise earning residual income.
Legitimacy is the first thing to look for with any program you are considering. Do a Google search for the program and if it shows up in online Internet marketing forums see what is being said about it. If it has a good reputation on the Internet marketing forums and is well established then you should be in good shape.
Training is another thing to look for within the program, especially if you’re new to Internet marketing. It should have a good training website and resources to promote the products and the opportunity itself. Don’t necessarily think that your sponsor will have the time to walk you through everything, as they have a business to run themselves. They should however be able to answers a few questions and point you in he right direction to get the information you need.
Earning a residual income is one of the best methods to start an online business and learn the basics of Internet marketing. One thing to remember if you are new to Internet marketing or any network marketing in general is that earning residual income online will take time and effort. Don’t expect instant results, and don’t think you can buy your way in.
One thing is certain, if you don’t start building the foundations to earning a residual income, you never will earn one.

Your mother, if she did her job right, taught you everything you need to know about how to get along in the world and how to get ahead in it. When we were kids, we thought these rules were silly, but later we learned her advice was pretty valuable. In honor of Mother’s Day (May 13), we’ve put her wisdom to work in online business marketing.
Mom’s Top 10 Steps To A Good Online Reputation
1. Put Your Best Foot Forward: As recently as a year ago, when things were newer, more experimental, a presence on MySpace only was fine. Not so anymore. You have to be everywhere, treating branding in the online world the way you would in the real world. Most social bookmarking networks allow you to set up a profile page for free (the ones that matter most do anyway). Create your online persona (a polite one), then clone it as necessary.
2. Make Eye Contact: Just like in the real world, wallflowers don’t get noticed. The wallflower is most likely an incredible resource – it’s just that nobody knows her because she doesn’t put herself out there. Be a participant by commenting, inviting, giving. Show up at your new neighbor’s door with a gift. It always goes over well – just remember to button your blouse.
3. You Are a Reflection of Your Mother (Company): Nobody likes a poorly kept lawn except the lazy bum that lives behind it. Maintain your public face on the social networks, shine your shoes, crease your pants, embrace your OCD. It may not be your homepage, but it is a home away from home. Maintaining several of these online presences is work, but so is business.
4. Keep An Open Mind: There’s an appropriate cliché for every situation – all your eggs in one basket comes to mind here – but I prefer my grandfather’s chestnut: “You drove your ducks to a damn poor market.” Poetic, that man was. For a long time it was search, search, search. Before that it was email, email, email. But now you need to integrate your campaign. Search is a staple, a pillar of your online campaign, but we also know that Wikipedia ranks consistently number one in the SERPs. That means you need a Wikipedia page, too. Note: YouTube also ranks well.
5. Become Necessary: Viral marketing is tricky, difficult business. But maybe it doesn’t have to be. Maybe if you realign your approach to reflect what you, as an individual enjoy, instead of being a salesperson, you can find a more intuitive connection with what the public wants to see. It’s often been said that a salesman sells himself more than the product. So if you want to make linkbait, think about what would cause you to bite first. If you look at your viral attempt and see more corporate talking points than linkable material, it’s time for a do-over.
6. Like the People that Like You (Even If You Think They’re Annoying): Barack Obama’s campaign people did something brilliant, and followed up with something not so brilliant. That makes it a great case study. An Obama fan set up a MySpace page and soon attracted thousands of friends. Instead of competing with his biggest fan, Obama endorsed the site as the official MySpace campaign headquarters. That was the brilliant part. After the page “got too big” for the original operator, the campaign crew took staged a coup to wrest control of the page from their biggest fan. That was the not so brilliant part, even if politics is mean by nature.
7. Watch Your Mouth: Again with the clichés that still hold true – if you don’t have anything nice to say, then don’t say anything at all. Steve Rubel learned the hard way that stream-of-consciousness blogging can have you saying something you wish you hadn’t. Transparency doesn’t mean total access.
8. Don’t Be a Fake: Who do we dislike most in civilized society (aside from the violent)? Liars, cheats, and thieves. We don’t like them because we view them as betrayers. That principle applies online, too, when your network discovers you’re not what you say you are. And the mob’s wrath is one that is hard to endure. Ask Edelman PR about their Wal-Marting Across America campaign.
9. Mind Your Manners: Mom’s favorite Bible verse still applies: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Commonly referred to as the Golden Rule on Earth, in Cyberspace, manners and etiquette are becoming increasingly more important. People are getting angry about anonymous drive-by (rude) commentary, salesy and useless comment spam (spam in general constitutes harassment in some form)…the list of ethics and etiquette violations is a long one, so it’s probably best to ask yourself: Would I appreciate this if it were done to me?
10. Stay Hip. Right now, MySpace, Facebook, Wikipedia, and YouTube are essential, but they’re still relatively new. Few really saw SecondLife coming as a virtual marketplace. Still yet, only the early adopters are talking about Twitter. But change online is swift, and the smart marketer keeps up with what’s hot. The last thing you want to do is look outdated. Just don’t sell out your core identity in the process.
While that’s just ten guidelines out of many, Mom always had one rule that ruled them all: Use your head, dodo bird! This is a thinking man’s game. Indeed it is. Good luck with your campaigns.

Having a home based business is not as unique as it used to be. What we mean that it is not unusual to know someone who has a home based business . You might even have a business of your own that you run in your home. What is still great today is having a successful home based business, and thousands of people all over the world are doing just that.
Running yourhome based business can be both good and bad. If you talk to someone who runs a successful online business out of their home they will concentrate on telling you all of the good things about it. On the opposite end of the spectrum a person who is trying to get their business going and are having problems will spend more time talking about all of the things that go wrong everyday.
So who is telling you the truth?
Any home based business that you start is going to have it’s ups and downs. When you first get started you will soon realize that there is not a lot of people knocking on your door looking for your product or services. It is going to take some marketing skills and a lot of effort on your part to let the world know you are in business.
I would go so far as to suggest that in the early days the person who is now successful might have spent 95% of their time promoting their home based business. If you were to analyze the unsuccessful home based business person they are probably spending considerably less time on promotion and more time on busy work.
Busy work is surfing the Internet, putting staples in the stapler, checking your email 15 times a day, going to the post office, dusting your home office, and so forth. Although little details do have to be paid attention to that can not and should not be your focus in the beginning.
You need a customer. Then you need another one and another. The only way to get your first customer is to make a sale. If your business is operated out of your home, but really takes place on the Internet you need traffic to a website.
If your home business is based on a service you provide such as carpet cleaning or plumbing, then the Internet can be a support tool, but most of your business will come from offline advertising such as local yellow pages or newspaper.
Word of mouth referrals is an important part of any successful business so it is important to do a good job for your customers and then ask them if you can use them as a reference. There is nothing more powerful for future business than a testimonial from a satisfied customer.
In summary we have looked at two types of home based businesses. One is successful because the pay attention to growing their business with advertising, doing a good job, and then asking for a referral. If you keep this attitude in your home business you can be one of the successful and happy ones.

Create your own web site in less than five minutes — and for free! — by starting a blog
Blogs (or weblogs) are frequently updated web sites that show the newest content at the top of the page. The other content usually follows in the order it was posted.
Business blogs have become one of the hottest tools for marketing on the Web today. And while some companies use them to promote their products in addition to their main web sites, you don’t need to have a web site — or even have a business yet — to start a blog.
Anyone can create a blog for free and have an active, functioning presence online in just minutes! Even complete Internet “newbies” find the set-up process simple and easy to understand. You don’t have to know anything about web design or pay a single cent for a domain name or web hosting.
And once you’ve got your blog online, you can start making money instantly! Here’s how…
Start a Google AdSense campaign to generate advertising revenue from your blog. It’s easy to set up an AdSense account, and have targeted ads displayed to your online readers. This can be a great source of revenue, though of course the amount of income you can expect from your AdSense ads will depend on the amount of traffic to your blog. The more traffic you receive, the more people are likely to click through the ads displayed on your site — and the more revenue for you!
Join an affiliate program — or a few affiliate programs! — and start promoting their products on your blog. You don’t even need your own product to get started! You can place ads for your affiliate products on your blog, or write articles or product reviews that contain your affiliate link. You receive a percentage of each sale made when readers click through your links and make a purchase.
Sell products directly from your blog: If you do have a product that you’re ready to sell, you can write articles on your blog telling readers about the benefits of your widget. Once they get excited about what you have to offer and decide to take action, you can direct them with a sidebar button to your PayPal account (which is free and easy to set up.)
With PayPal, they can order your product and pay for it in seconds — even with their credit cards! And it only takes you a few moments to get set up to take payments.
You can create a blog in five minutes, absolutely free, with a free blog hosting service. These are considered the top options for blogging beginners:
Blogger (www.blogger.com)
Yahoo! 360 (http://360.yahoo.com)
MSN Spaces (http://spaces.msn.com)
LiveJournal (www.livejournal.com)

Use Google Page Creator to get free exposure on the ‘Net — AND travel up the search engine rankings!
Google Page Creator is a brand-new program that enables anyone with a Google ID to set up their very own web site in just minutes!
When Google Page Creator Beta was launched just over a month ago, the sign-up page was overrun with visitors looking to get their very own Google Page Creator account. So much so, in fact, that they had to stop taking submissions that same day!
Why was everyone so eager to get involved with Google Pages? Well, the most obvious benefit of the program is that your pages are rapidly indexed by the Google search engine spiders.
Some new web site owners spend a ton of time and effort trying to show up in search engine results for their keywords, but with a Google Page, you jumpstart that process.
Within minutes, you have a fully functioning web site that you can use to make money online right away.
You can generate profits with Google Page Creator in much the same way as with a blog…
You can promote your own product on your Google Page with a salesletter or ad, and then direct your visitors to your PayPal checkout system to purchase your product right away.
You can also promote other people’s products on your Google Page through content, links, or ads, and make quick cash from affiliate commissions.
And naturally, Google Pages are the perfect place to set up a Google AdSense campaign…
When your account is approved, Google offers a simple page setup process with an easy-to-use WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) HTML editor. You can add your own text by typing it straight into the editor, or by cutting and pasting from any kind of text file. You can also upload pictures, create links, and even edit the raw HTML code if you wish.
In fact, it’s never been easier to set up your own web site!
In order to get started with Google Page Creator, you’ll need a Google ID, which you can sign up for at:
https://www.google.com/accounts/NewAccount
Once you’ve got an account, you can head to the Page Creator homepage (http://pages.google.com) to add your name to the waiting list — at this point, they are not taking real-time submissions.
Of course, if you’re getting serious about starting a business online, we always recommend that you create a web site of your own…
And nowadays, with domains and hosting cheaper than they’ve ever been before, and with tons of inexpensive — and FREE — tools available to help you get set up, there’s no reason to put off creating your very own presence on the Web…
Set up a professional-looking web site in minutes with easy-to-use web site templates
These days, you don’t need to know a thing about HTML or web design to get a great looking site up and running in no time at all. The secret is to start building your pages with a template web site creator.
Prices vary from company to company, but you can usually get a template site up and running for as low as $2.99 a month, depending on the features and functions you want to build into your web site.
Most basic packages include a domain name, web hosting, an easy-to-use site template, photo uploading capability, and a limited number of domain-specific e-mail accounts.
You can be completely up and running with your new web site in the space of just a day or two, depending on the length of the company’s approval or acceptance process.
While template sites can’t be customized as completely as regular web sites, the margin for error and mistakes is much, much smaller than with an independent, do-it-yourself web design process. You can get all your newbie errors out of the way at a minimum of expense!
Most companies will charge a little more per month to integrate a shopping cart or e-commerce functionality into your template site, but you can also opt to add a payment system of your own choosing to your pages.
(Remember: PayPal is always free to sign up, and the easiest system for entrepreneurs who are just getting started online.)
If a template web site creator is what you’re looking for, check out the solution we recommend at www.MarketingTips.com/allinone. They offer a full range of resources like…
attractive templates
useful extras like photo gallery software and search engine tools
domain research and sales
strong customer service
web hosting
… and all for reasonable prices that won’t break the bank for a first-time business owner.
Template sites are a great starting point if you want to get your site up and running right away and start experimenting with e-commerce opportunities. However, as your business grows, you will likely need to develop a site of your own that allows you more control over the look and functionality of your online presence.
Final thoughts
It’s never been easier to build an e-commerce presence online than it is now, with the rise in popularity of blogging, auction web sites like eBay.com, quick web hosting solutions like Google Page Creator, and template web site solutions.
Each of these options offers you the proven income opportunity to determine the viability of your business model, test your strategies and salescopy, establish a ranking in the search engines, and gain credibility and a reputation in your industry.
Best of all, you can get started making money online TODAY.
And once your business is underway and you’re ready to set up a web site of your own, you can also use all of quick start options we’ve talked about today to continue to market your products…
Use a blog to grab a great position in search engine rankings, and then drive traffic to your sales web site!
Use a Google Page to drive another stream of traffic to your site!

You do not have to wander around town looking for real estate to get into business for yourself. You can always start a work at home business, provided you can offer a viable product or service, or take advantage of opening one of many available franchises. Your abilities, desire and financial resources can help determine the type of business and how long it may take to get it started.
When considering starting an online business you need to determine the type of online business you want to be involved with. You have the choice of selling products or services as well as whether you want to sell your own product line or someone else’s. The same can be true for service-related businesses. There are several companies offering services that you can resell and make a profit and if you find any of them useful, you may want to be involved.
You can also choose to sell a combination or products and services to take advantage of different aspects of the online shopping venture. While niche marketing and focusing on one product line has proven successful, so has being able to take advantage of different needs for different customer bases. Niche markets are more focused while a product mix reaches more of your targeted audience. You can also offer backend products, such as printer paper and ink to go with printers.
Working capital is a serious consideration in starting any online business and probably the biggest expense will involve marketing your business. A good business plan can help you determine your target audience, which in turn will help determine where you will focus your marketing. This plan should be part of the overall business plan as without a specific market to target, you could end up simply throwing money into the wind and hoping it falls where it will do the most good.
Sustaining growth is another planning process and depending on your product line can be a viable exercise. Every business that sells merchandise should plan to offer products that are considered disposable. Items that customers will need to replenish or replace when used to gain the possibility of repeat business. Some businesses, such as home mortgages, are only able to sell to the same customer once, or maybe twice so they are constantly on the lookout for ways of generating more customers.
A business offering disposable items do not have to continually focus on new customers, rather good customer service and quality products can provide continued growth based on repeat shopping by the same customers. For example, if you sell digital cameras, it may be years between sales to the same customer. However, you can bolster your sales by also offering memory cards and printing services or supplies to bring in additional sales to existing customers.
